for everyone
The differences between still and video cameras is almost nil. Many new compact digital cameras offer a movie mode that takes a short video. Some video camcorders have the ability to take a small file still photo.

Now there are two new cameras that blur the differences between still and video cameras even further.

One is the Casio EX-F1 ($899) that offers a 6 megapixel raw still file and Hi Def video in 1080i or 720P. It also will take 60 stills per second. It comes with a 36-432mm lens. http://www.luminous-landscape.com/reviews/casio-exf1.shtml

On the other side of the spectrum is the Samsung’s SC-HMX20C Camcorder that shoot full HD video with 30 frames per seconds recording capability at 1920x1080p HD . It can also record slow motion at 300 frames per second! It has a still camera function of shooting 6.4 megapixels. It weighs only 11 ounces! http://www.samsung.com/us/news/newsRead.do?news_seq=6436&page=4&news_group=productnews&rdoPeriod=ALL&from_dt=&to_dt=&news_type=&news_ctgry=&search_keyword=
